First off you are doing an awesome job of raising your son. I think that kids should just be allowed to be kids.
My daughter loves baby dolls and makeup but also loves dinosaurs. Walking through Kohls or target there were no dinosaur shirts on the “girls” side of the store. I am tired of all the pink and sparkly so I decided to make my own dinosaur shirt for her. A green shirt with a pink dinosaur that said “FEARLESS”
To my surprise, a woman in my mom’s group asked for me to make her one for daughter and one for her son. Knowing that I am not the only one having this issue with clothes for my kids, I started Captain Tutu Clothing with designs clothes that break gender stereotypes and special needs stigmas and empowers kids to be proud of their interests and abilities.
Keep complimenting your son’s butterfly leggings. They are amazing.
